This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game HyperHockey (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you download, install, or use the App.

This Privacy Policy applies to users worldwide, including users in the European Union / European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other regions.

In short: HyperHockey does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or process personal data directly through the App. The App works offline and stores game data only on your device.


1. Introduction

HyperHockey is a mobile arcade air hockey game designed to work locally on your device.

The App does not require account registration, login, internet connection, advertising identifiers, analytics tools, tracking systems, or third-party tracking SDKs.

We do not collect personal data from users directly through the App.

Some optional lifetime purchases may be introduced in the future. Any such purchases will be processed by the relevant app store, such as Google Play or Apple App Store, under their own payment systems, terms, and privacy policies.


2. Information We Do Not Collect

HyperHockey does not collect, store on our servers, transmit, sell, or share any of the following information directly through the App:

  • Name, surname, email address, phone number, postal address, or other personal identifiers.

  • Account credentials, because the App does not provide user accounts or login features.

  • Location data, including GPS location or approximate location.

  • Contacts, photos, videos, files, camera input, or microphone input.

  • Advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, or tracking identifiers.

  • Usage analytics, gameplay analytics, crash telemetry, or diagnostic data collected by us.

  • Payment card details, bank account details, or other direct financial information.

The App contains:

  • No advertising.

  • No third-party analytics SDKs.

  • No tracking technologies.

  • No online leaderboard.

  • No online multiplayer.

  • No account system.

  • No connection to our servers for gameplay data.


3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To make the game function correctly, HyperHockey may save certain game-related data locally on your device.

This information is stored only in the device’s local storage and is never sent to us or to any third party by the App.

Locally stored data may include:

  • Game progress.

  • Coins or in-game currency earned during gameplay.

  • Upgrades and unlocked powers.

  • Ladder progress.

  • Tournament progress and tournaments won.

  • Paddle customizations, such as shape, color, and style.

  • Paddles created in the in-game “Lab”.

  • App preferences, such as sound, music, and vibration settings.

  • Any nickname you voluntarily choose to type for your paddle or local game profile.

  • Local status of unlocked content or lifetime features, where applicable.

Any nickname entered in the App is stored only locally on your device. We recommend that you avoid using your real name, email address, phone number, or other personal information as a nickname.


4. Lifetime Purchases and Payments

HyperHockey may offer optional lifetime purchases in the future, such as unlocking the full version of the App, removing limitations, or accessing additional game content permanently.

These purchases, if introduced, will be handled by the official app store platform from which you downloaded the App, such as:

  • Google Play Store.

  • Apple App Store.

We do not directly collect, receive, or store your payment card details, bank details, billing address, or other payment credentials.

The app store provider may process information related to your purchase, such as transaction status, purchase history, payment confirmation, tax information, refund requests, and account details, according to its own privacy policy and terms of service.

The App may store the unlock status of your lifetime purchase locally on your device or may rely on the app store’s purchase validation system where required. We do not use this information for tracking, advertising, profiling, or analytics.


5. Device Language

HyperHockey may read your device language setting locally in order to display the App in the appropriate language.

For example:

  • If your device language is set to Italian, the App may display Italian text.

  • In other cases, the App may display English text.

This information is used only locally on your device and is not collected, transmitted, stored by us, or shared with third parties.


6. Permissions and Device Features

HyperHockey may use the following device features only for gameplay purposes:

Vibration / Haptics

The App may use vibration or haptic feedback to improve the gameplay experience.

Audio Output

The App may play game sounds and music through your device’s speakers or headphones.

The App does not use the microphone.

Local Storage

The App uses local storage to save your game progress, settings, customizations, and local unlock status on your device.

The App does not upload this data to any server operated by us.


7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, disclose, or share user data with third parties because HyperHockey does not collect or transmit user data directly through the App.

However, please note that app stores and operating systems, such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Android, or iOS, may independently collect or process certain technical, diagnostic, purchase, tax, payment, or usage information under their own privacy policies and terms.

Those services are operated by third parties and are outside our control. This Privacy Policy applies only to HyperHockey and not to data processed independently by app stores, operating systems, payment systems, or device manufacturers.


8. Website Hosting

The website is hosted by Hostinger.

If you visit our website, Hostinger and related web infrastructure providers may process standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, server logs, and access timestamps, according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

The HyperHockey App itself does not connect to this website and does not transmit gameplay data, personal data, or device data to us.


9. Children’s Privacy

HyperHockey is designed for a general audience.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users directly through the App. The App does not include accounts, advertising, chat, online communication, online multiplayer, or tracking features.

Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data directly to us, we do not knowingly process personal information from children under the age of 13, under the age of 16 in certain EU countries, or under any other applicable minimum age in the user’s country.

If optional purchases are introduced, they will be handled by the relevant app store platform. Parents or legal guardians should manage purchase permissions, family settings, and parental controls through the relevant app store or device settings.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please note that the App does not transmit such information to us. You may still contact us if you have any questions.


10. Your Privacy Rights

Because HyperHockey does not collect or store personal data on our servers, we generally do not hold any personal data that can be accessed, corrected, exported, restricted, or deleted by us.

EU / EEA / UK Users

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, users may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.

Since the App does not transmit personal data to us and we do not store personal data on our servers, there is generally no personal data for us to provide, correct, delete, or export.

You can delete locally stored game data directly from your device as described in Section 11.

California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not collect personal information directly through the App.

Therefore, we do not have personal information collected directly through the App to disclose, correct, delete, or transfer.


11. Data Retention and Deletion

All game data is stored locally on your device.

You can delete locally stored data at any time by:

  • Using your device settings to clear the App’s data or storage.

  • Uninstalling the App from your device.

When you delete the App or clear its local storage, your locally stored game progress, settings, customizations, and local unlock status may be permanently removed.

If lifetime purchases are introduced, uninstalling the App or clearing local data may remove the local unlock status from your device. However, your purchase may still be restorable through the relevant app store account, subject to the app store’s rules and technical availability.

We do not retain any copy of your local game data because it is never sent to us.


12. Data Security

Since HyperHockey does not transmit personal data or gameplay data to us, your game data remains stored locally on your device.

The security of locally stored data depends on your device’s own security protections, such as:

  • Operating system sandboxing.

  • Device lock screen.

  • Storage protection.

  • Security updates provided by your device manufacturer or operating system provider.

Payment security for any future lifetime purchases will be handled by the relevant app store platform.

We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date.


13. International Users

HyperHockey is available to users in different countries.

Because the App works offline and does not transmit personal data to us, we do not perform international transfers of personal data through the App.

If lifetime purchases are introduced, the relevant app store provider may process purchase-related data according to its own international data transfer policies.


14. Future Features

In the future, we may introduce new features, such as online multiplayer, online tournaments, cloud saves, leaderboards, friend challenges, accounts, or other online services.

If we add features that require the collection or processing of personal data, we will update this Privacy Policy before or at the time those features are released.

Where required by law, we will also request the necessary consent or provide appropriate privacy notices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
